This Privacy Policy explains how Barabr (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Barabr Android application and related websites (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

Barabr is a farm office notebook for landowners and office users in Pakistan. It helps you keep Zameen (land), Khata (accounts), Kharcha, Aamdani, Munafa, stock, and related records on your phone.

2. Information we collect

• Account details: name, phone number, password (stored hashed), office/organization name, city/area, preferred language, and profile photo if you add one.
• Farm records you enter: lands, accounts (Khata), people, expenses, incomes, payments, stock, settlements, notes, and receipt images you upload.
• Location data (optional): when you use Address or Nap (land measurement), we may collect precise location (GPS) and/or map pin coordinates, and a formatted address if available. Location is used only for land address and measurement features. You can deny permission and pick a place manually on the map.
• Device and app data: device identifiers used for push notifications (FCM token), app version, and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
• Subscription and fee records: plan status, payment proofs you submit for subscriptions or Barabr service fees, and admin review status.
• Website usage: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) when you open our website.

3. How we use information

• Provide, sync, and backup your farm notebook across devices for your office.
• Calculate account summaries, settlements, and displays you request in the app.
• Save land addresses and Nap (polygon) measurements you create.
• Send important app notifications (for example fee reminders or office messages) when you allow notifications.
• Process subscription and service-fee submissions.
• Secure the Service, prevent abuse, fix bugs, and improve reliability.
• Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.

4. Google Maps and location

Address and Nap features use Google Maps Platform (Maps SDK / related location services) on your device. Map display and reverse geocoding may send map/location requests to Google under Google’s terms and privacy policy. We do not sell your location. Land coordinates and addresses you save are stored with your office’s land records so you can reopen them later.

Nap area figures are estimates from the boundary points you place on the map. They are not a government survey certificate.

5. Sharing of information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Within your office: members of your organization who have permission can see shared farm records for that office.
• Service providers: hosting, databases, Firebase Cloud Messaging (push), and Google Maps Platform, under their terms.
• Legal: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and farm records while your office account is active so you can use the notebook. Closed accounts and uploaded receipts may be retained as historical records for your office. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; we will delete or anonymize personal data unless we must keep it for legal, security, or accounting reasons.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please keep your phone and login details safe.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for farm office adults, not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Your choices

• You can deny location permission; Address/Nap can still work with a manual map pin.
• You can disable notifications in system settings.
• You can edit or delete many records inside the app according to your office permissions.
• You can contact us to ask about access or deletion of your personal data.

10. International processing

Servers or processors may be located outside your province or country. By using the Service you understand your information may be processed in those locations with appropriate safeguards.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
